1. Who we are

xynenyx is operated by TwoKai LTD. This policy explains what personal data we collect on xynenyx.com, why we collect it, and your choices.

2. What we collect

2.1 Email subscribe

If you subscribe, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • The market interest you choose (Fashion, Beauty, or Both)
  • When you subscribed
  • Optionally, a link to an analytics session id if you previously accepted analytics

We use this to send the weekly editions you chose and occasional product updates about xynenyx. We do not sell your email. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

2.2 Analytics (only if you accept)

If you click Accept on our consent banner, we collect first-party analytics such as:

  • An anonymous visitor id stored in your browser
  • Page paths you visit
  • Session timing
  • Approximate device type and browser details from the user agent
  • Scroll depth and section engagement on edition pages
  • Subscribe funnel events (for example form start or submit result)
  • Referral and UTM parameters when present

We do not run analytics until you Accept. If you Decline, we do not send analytics requests.

2.3 Technical logs

Our hosting providers may process standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, request paths) to operate and secure the service. These are not used for marketing profiles.

3. How we use data

  • Deliver and improve the weekly editions and the public site
  • Understand which editions people read (with consent)
  • Prevent abuse (for example rate limits and a honeypot on the subscribe form)
  • Respond to questions you send to hello@xynenyx.com

4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Consent for analytics cookies / local storage and related event collection
  • Legitimate interests for running a secure website and preventing abuse
  • Contract / steps prior to contract is not our primary basis for subscribe capture in this phase; subscribe is based on your request to receive updates, with a clear permission line at the point of collection

You can withdraw analytics consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

5. Retention

  • Subscribe emails: kept while you remain subscribed. You can ask us to delete your address by emailing hello@xynenyx.com.
  • Analytics events and sessions: retained for product analysis. We aim to keep identifiable analytics data no longer than needed, and typically review retention within 24 months.
  • Server logs: retained according to our hosting providers' defaults for security and debugging.

6. Sharing

We use processors to host and operate the product (for example website hosting, API hosting, database, and email tooling when send is enabled). They process data on our instructions.

We may disclose data if required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Our infrastructure may process data in the UK, EU, or other regions where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards offered by those providers.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact hello@xynenyx.com.

If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. Children

The site is not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
